About
By blending origins, processes and varieties, CATALYST creates flavour profiles that break boundaries and unlock complexities. This is how we innovate the game. Every blend is crafted for depth, balance and character, resulting in an exclusive taste that ONLY CATALYST can deliver. And because great coffee should do more than taste good, every offering supports two different farmers. Twice the collaboration. Twice the impact. CATALYST isn’t just coffee, it’s progress in a cup.

MAVERICK
Columbia + Mexico
Typica I Bourbon I Castillo I Tabi
This is our Killer Espresso Blend! Two raw origins smashed together into something that hits hard. First up, Mexico Huipil, from the rugged highlands of Oaxaca. This isn’t a monocrop plantation. This is shade grown coffee woven into forest life by Mazatec families who’ve been doing it their way for generations. Typica and Bourbon beans, grown slow under native canopy, picked by hand, and washed with mountain water. Second component is from the steep slopes of Huila, this coffee is the work of women who farm against the odds. Small plots, high altitudes, and a patchwork of Castillo, Bourbon and old regional varieties. It’s not about uniform rows or industrial scale, it’s about grit, heritage, and pride. Picked by hand, sun dried and carried down mountainsides, these beans deliver a cup that hits with red fruit brightness, a snap of citrus, and a steady sweetness underneath.

PRIZE MACHINE
Columbia + Mexico
Castillo | Red Bourbon I Criolo I Typica
PRIZE MACHINE doesn’t play safe. Colombia’s Jairo Arcila Blackberry Co-Ferment crashing head on with the raw vibrancy of Huipil from Mexico. Funky, juicy and electric. Ripe blackberry skin, blackcurrant syrup and sour cherry hit first, followed by flashes of hibiscus acidity and a wine soaked sweetness that lingers. Arcila pushes fermentation to the edge. Whole blackberries drive an anaerobic ferment that floods Castillo with deep purple fruit, sticky sweetness and a punchy intensity. Huipil pulls it back just enough. Clean, structured and confident, it locks everything into place with floral lift, subtle spice and a firm, juicy backbone that keeps the chaos in check.
