About
Loose Bottles is our weekly cellar night. A small run of wines opened for the evening. No fixed tasting, no over-explaining, just a handful of bottles we’re into right now. a few simple plates and space to try things at your own pace. Start with your first glass and take it from there. If you like something, stay on it. If you don’t, move on. Staff will point you in the right direction but nothing’s over-explained. Each week runs as a new “batch” with different bottles, styles and moods. Some easy, some a bit left-field. Come early, or don’t. It loosens up as the night goes on.

T’ara Rà
Cantina Giardino / Campania, Italy
Greco
From one of Campania’s highest vineyards at 650 metres in Santa Paolina. Four days on skins followed by a year in old chestnut barrels. Complex and savoury, with firm tannins, smoky depth and a long, structured finish. Serious and contemplative.

Samodia / Valsamoggia, Emilia-Romagna, Italy / 2024
Barbera, Sangiovese, Ancellotta, Merlot, Lambrusco Grasparossa
All the rustic charm of Emilia-Romagna reds, but with a light, nimble touch. Cherry stone and fresh strawberry from the Ancellotta, lifted by bright acidity and easy drinkability. A true vino da tavola.

BellunO / Pinot Nero / 2022
Pinot Noir
Pinot Nero from young vines planted 600 metres above sea level at the foot of the Dolomites. Twelve hours on skins before resting in tank, then bottled with passito must for a second fermentation. Hazy pink, dry and delicate, with alpine strawberry, herbs and mineral notes. Pure aperitivo energy.

El Soci
Bodega Clandestina / Penedès, Catalunya, Spain / 2024
A Macabeo full of personality and verve, capturing Ferran’s pursuit of “great lightness”. Sun-kissed citrus and delicate florals carried by crisp, refreshing acidity. Effortless and dangerously drinkable.
